Internship Day – 3

Today was the last day of the internship program. It was a fresh morning when I reached Divyang Info World. We had our prayers as usual. There after we sat in the Tata Sky Experience room. Like yesterday we were called in the same triplets, as we had the same work. Today Vishwam, Alakha and I had to cover the branch of administration-the last one. We were there until 2:00pm. Here we learnt how to order Tata Sky – it can be only done by the dealers. Customers have to go it the dealers. We also learnt about EPRS-Electronic Prepaid Recharge Service. This is the service for recharging active Tata Sky account. We learnt see how they made bills and we even learnt how to make a bill/receipt for imported/exported material. In this department we need to be very careful. None of us enjoyed working in this department! It was the most boring work ever! Then we had our lunch which we were awaiting for, like anything! Till 3:00pm we enjoyed very much. Then we the first group of the first day-Ajay, Jheel, Tanmay, Rahul and I had to complete the topic of Laptops as it was left out. We learnt the basic hardware and parts of laptops and what to keep in mind when buying Laptops. Then we were paired up and we all had to become a buyer, a seller and a judge. The products were Laptops, Tata Sky, Tata Sky Plus, Monitor TV and Network Monitor. Judges had to rate the buyer and the sellers according to their behavior, question and answer and spontaneity.  They had to rate them in A, B and C. Vishwam and I were the first to present for the laptops. Vishwam was a seller and I was a buyer. Then next Alakh and Vishwam were paired up and I was the judge. Next time I was a seller and Rahul was a buyer, for Monitor TV and Network monitor. This exercise was like and assessment for us for what we had learnt till now. It was really interesting. Then we had an informal talk about what we had learnt and how we learnt. We discussed about what are the essential things for working and what we should do in our lives and what should be our goal. Then we celebrated Vihan’s birthday. Then we had some snacks and finally it was the departure time and the official day was over. We received our certificates, our group photograph which was taken in the morning and gift of Britanica. Who says work is load/frustrations.
